Protests have begun against Karnataka’s ‘slapstick’ housing minister V Somanna. In Bengaluru on Monday, Congress leaders and workers took to the streets and staged a strong protest against minister V Somanna. Many Congress leaders and workers have been detained by the police. Congress demands that strict action be taken against the accused minister.
This incident of slapping the woman is said to be on October 22, the video of which quickly went viral on the social media platform. It is alleged that Somanna had slapped a woman in Gundalupet. It is being told that the woman had approached the Housing Minister with her complaint regarding the house and was demanding justice for her. Somanna instead of listening to the whole story of the woman slapped her. Even after this slap, the woman touched the minister’s feet and was seen pleading for justice.
